🌍 World Equity Indices Cash and US Index Futures
Asia passed a solidly higher session. Hang Seng (+2.12%) led with an aggressive push to its best levels since mid-November 2023 and extending its recovery out of January trend lows. Shanghai’s Comp (+1.17%) successfully challenged the upper levels of multi-month resistance to close at a six-month high. Both Kospi (+1.05%) and Nikkei (+0.81%) attempt to rebuild confidence just off their corrective lows. In Europe, DAX (+0.94%) outperforms on tech strength to stabilize, while FTSE (+0.57%) continues to print fresh trend highs. The sunrise North American calls were higher across the board.
Mini DJIA (Jun-2024) are slightly higher, trading at 38,329 with an increase of 41 points (+0.11%), showing that the market is resisting a descent back into correction territory. The market's reluctance to settle into the lower half of Thursday’s trading
