🌍 World Equity Indices Cash and US Index Futures
Asia passed a net-higher session. Nikkei (+1.24%) reopened and played catchup, attempting to dig itself out of correction lows. Elsewhere, gains were rather muted with the Kospi (+0.17%) pushing to fresh bounce highs but settling off it’s best session levels, while Hang Seng (+0.09%) traded inside. The Shanghai Comp (-0.26%) didn’t see any follow thru, barely mustering up a challenge of Monday’s highs. In Europe, FTSE (+0.31%) continued its outperformance, while DAX (0.57%) struggles to draw interest. The sunrise North American calls were slightly lower, with losses accelerating following 8:30’s 1Q Employment Cost Index.
Mini DJIA, Jun-2024 Trades lower to 38,315, down by 244 points or -0.63%. The market had a steady Monday but lacked any strong directional cues. Price dropped
